How to find a run club near you in the Hills District
Finding a run club near you is easier than it sounds: search, check the details and register for free.

The quickest way to find a run club near me in the Hills District is to search, check the details and register. Hills Run Club is a free community running club for people in Glenhaven, Castle Hill and nearby suburbs. We run a Thursday morning run at Glenhaven Oval and a Tuesday night run at Castle Hill Showground, and you can join either one with a free HRC+ account.
How to search for a run club near you
Start with the search you would already use. Type “run club near me” into your phone, or add your suburb, such as Glenhaven or Castle Hill, to narrow the results. A listing tells you a group exists. The details that decide whether it suits you are on the club’s own pages: where you meet, what time the run starts, how far it goes and how to register.
Then follow Hills Run Club on Instagram at @hillsrunclubau.
What to ask before your first run
A good run club answers these questions clearly. Here are the ones to ask, with the answers for Hills Run Club.
- Where exactly do we meet? Thursday mornings at Glenhaven Oval, 78 Glenhaven Road, Glenhaven. Tuesday nights at Castle Hill Showground, Castle Hill.
- What time does it start? Thursday: meet at 5:45am for a 6:00am start. Tuesday: meet at 6:45pm for a 7:00pm start.
- How far do we run? Thursday: 2.5 km or 5 km. Tuesday: 3 km or 6 km. These are options, not totals, and one lap is a full run, so pick the distance that suits you.

- Do I need to be fast? No. There is no pressure to be fast or experienced, and walkers are welcome.
- What happens afterwards? Thursday runs finish with coffee and a sweet treat.
