Hills Run Club x HOKA & The Running Room

Thirty HRC+ members took over the HOKA Lab powered by The Running Room at HOKA Pitt Street for a night of running, testing new shoes and learning how their bodies move.

Hills Run Club x HOKA & The Running Room

Sydney, Australia – 7 September 2026

An evening for 30 HRC+ members

This was an HRC+ member experience. Thirty members were selected for an evening inside HOKA’s new Pitt Street flagship, home to the HOKA Lab powered by The Running Room, shared with fellow members and the Hills Run Club team.

The club started with four friends and a Thursday morning run in the Hills District. Taking 30 of our runners into the city for a night like this is the kind of thing the club was built for.

A run to the harbour in new HOKAs

The night started with shoes. Members picked out a pair of new HOKAs to test, then headed out with Jordy Quick from HOKA for a run to the front of Sydney Harbour and back around the city.

There is no better way to judge a shoe than to run in it, and no better place to do it than the harbour at night.

Inside the HOKA Lab

The HOKA Lab powered by The Running Room brings specialist running technology into the store. Back from the run, members stepped onto the Lab’s treadmill for a closer look at how their bodies move when they run.

Injury and recovery with The Running Room

The evening finished with a session from Bill Chesters of The Running Room on running, injury and recovery: what to look out for, and how to recover well so you can keep running week after week.

For a club that welcomes every pace, knowing how to stay injury free matters as much as running fast.

Thank you, HOKA and The Running Room

A huge thank you to HOKA and The Running Room for having us, and to Jordy and Bill for giving our community such an awesome experience. It follows our Night Run with HOKA in the Hills District.
